How To Change Legal Name In Shutterstock Contributor Account??

Hello there, there could be several reasons for changing your contributor account name. Because of security issues shutterstock doesn't allow contributors to change their name by themselves from the settings. By the way you can change your display name many times as you want.

If you have put want to to change your legal name because  you have changed your name on your National ID card issued by the goverment than you have to give them a proof  for that.

If you put your nick name by mistake in the place of legal name than follow these steps.

 Follow these steps to change your legal name in your shutterstock contributor account:

01. You cannot change your legal name by yourself from shutterstock contributor account settings.

02. You have to send a mail to their given mailing address with all the necessary information which they need to verify your account.

03. Mailing addresss where you have to send mail is submit@shutterstock.com 

04. Here I am adding a pre-written mail for you just put your current and new name in the place and send them your mail. 

05. Don't forget to add supporting documents in your mail. It could be driving licence, id card, or marriage certificate.
